
SpaceRace
SpaceRace was the second game I made and it served as a way to expriment and learn more about programming. Tri-ship was my introduction to C# and to Object Oriented Programming (OOP), with SpaceRace I utilized more of what C# had to offer. SpaceRace has more hand made models, some of them with textures this time, and a bot system that is used to navigate inside a tube. The game generates a tube that the player and bots race to get the the end first, however their are two types of bots, racers and bosses. Racers are a type of player that is controlled through the bot system to avoid obsticles and other racers in order to reach the end first. Bosses utilize the same navigation code, but are larger in size and spawns red cubes as obsticles to block and challenge the player and bots. The development time, compared to Tri-ship, was way shorter, only taking about 7 months on and off development.
