FIRST

With previous experience my in BEST, FIRST was a step up in terms of programming and dedication. I joined the BroncBotz in my freshman year of high school at Louis D. Brandeis and was part of the FTC team 4602 Prometheus. During my FTC year I learned more about prototyping and fabricating with more robust materials such as aluminum and delrin plastic. I also learned more about programming in Java which was a language I had touched very litttle beforehand. In the years following I went up to FRC which dealt with bigger robots and had more complex code than FTC. My sophomore year in FRC was where I was introduced to C++ and helped furthur develop the code base established for the robot. In my junior and senior year in FRC I made multiple applications such as FRC Sim and Auto Path and made improvements to the robot base code such as swerve drive capabilites and PID objects for general purpose or specifics such making motors use encoders to act like high power servos. At FIRST competitions I help other teams when they encountered technical problems and later I mentored and managed a team of programmers in FRC.
